Videography & Editing

I humbly began my journey in videography and editing during middle school, spending countless hours with friends in basements, scripting and filming music videos to early 2000s songs using iMovie. We meticulously planned our performances, outfits, locations, and special effects to create our masterpieces. Once completed, we would gather around our laptop, filled with pride as we watched our work come to life. This creative fulfillment led me to work at my college's radio station and television studio, where I hosted, edited, filmed, directed, scripted, and managed various segments, shows, and live broadcasts.

After graduating in 2017 and working in media ad sales, I found myself missing the thrill of producing. So, I invested in a quality camera, microphones, a tripod, a ring light, and other gear to reignite my creative passion. I launched a YouTube channel called "Trying2MakeIt", where I interviewed individuals and small business owners pursuing their dreams. From aspiring comedians to semi-pro paintball teams and SFX makeup artists, I traveled around as a one-woman production company interviewing, filming and editing together packages for these fellow people who were "trying to make it" in their own respective industries, and had an incredible time! Although the channel is no longer active, it served as a great portfolio that helped me secure a development role within A+E Network's unscripted production studio, A+E Factual Studios, where I have been working since 2019. I still enjoy expressing my creativity by filming and editing videos of holidays, vacations, and weekends with friends, check out some of my work below!
